December Odds and Ends- 2013

1. Kate had a 2nd dance recital.  She was lovely of course!
2-3.  Kate and Sam and I made a candy train for each person in Kate's 1st grade class for her class party  All the kids thought they were so fun.  We made one for Mari and Sam as well and they ate them right away.  It was so fun to be in Kate's class for her Christmas party.  She thought it was special to have me there and then even picked to come home with me instead of ride the bus.
4,5,6- Bethany eats some little cereals and loves it.  She is really showing off her red hair in these pictures too!  She doesn't have much, but it is growing in finally!
7,8.  In our Sunday best again!
Not pictures because I took video instead were the Christmas Programs we got to attend for both Sam and Kate.  So fun and they did great.  Sam was an elf at Santa's workshop.  He was so excited to have us all come to watch.  He sang his songs so well too.  Kate had a speaking part in front of her whole school and all their parents.  I love that she is not inhibited at all about those things.  She had been practicing the part all week, and we couldn't tell what it was suppose to be about.  When we arrived for her program we saw her seated dressed in a strange dress and head dress we couldn't figure out what she was suppose to be dressed like. It was clear when her part started that it was about Kwanza - but our 6 year old had a hard time explaining this concept at home to us of course.
