Christmas Eve & Morning 2010

Some pictures from our Christmas Eve and Morning. I had been looking forward to my sweet kiddos on this day for so long.
In their new PJ's with slippers.

Putting on a nativity puppet show with Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Drew and Aunt Dee.

Kate plays Mary, Jospeh and the baby Jesus.
Listening to the angel

Opening gifts Christmas morning.
Santa left this tent all set up and the presents were inside.
Kate starts dressing up right away with her new treasures.
Sam breaks into stocking candy before 8:00 am.
and likes it.
the whole family in the castle
Kate as a princess in the castle.

The kids each got a book with the main character with their own name. We have started a collection of different Sam and Kate books. If you know of one let me know.

Opening the remote control train. He slept with this new pal nap and night the whole time we were in Fresno- until he switched to his new tractor the last night.
More playing with the train.
Jake tries out her pretend doctor kid on Dad.
Looking at presents together.
Sam does some serious magna doodle-ing

Bowling

An afternoon bowling with some Freeman family proves fun.

Freeman Farm Time

Thrilled at the sight of a little frog Uncle Mark caught for them.
This may be as close as we can get them to come to the bucket holding a frog.
Laughing about the frog.
The frog that is making the children squeal and freak out.
Looking at tractor catalogs with Grandpa- he even let Sam take one home. Sam loves this farm living.
A Grandpa who takes you on tractor rides everyday is this little boys dream come true.
Kate is so happy to be playing outside too. Grandma has a playhouse outside with a play kitchen and "her own park"

Handsome Boys

The boys in the family ready for church in front of the tree.

Getting Ready for Vacation

While I packed us for our 8 day California trip- the kids helped me clean the house.
Actually these are the sponges Kate got for Christmas from one of my siblings so she can play Cinderella. And that is exactly what they are doing. Complete with singing the song and pretending to yell at a cat that tracked mud over their nice clean floor. I am not sure where these kids came from - but I love them a lot.

Christmas 2010 Anderson Family

Sam was gifted this lighter from his uncle Craig. When Craig was Sam's current age he liked to play with flame throwers. He liked to play with flame throwers and once set the house on fire. Craig is a fun uncle, and obviously not a parent himself.

If you see a lot of odd presents (sponges, lighters, fruit loops), that is because my siblings and I give one another gifts that can't cost more than $1. It is all very entertaining.

This Anderson Christmas Party was actually almost two weeks ago, and I am just getting around to posting it now. The holidays have kept my away from the computer and occupied.
