We carved pumpkins a few days before Halloween.
We grew several pumpkins in our garden and then some friends with a farm let us plant more there so we had several to pick from without going anywhere. As always we just painted them. And each kid without being told too painted their pumpkin to match whatever their costume was. So Kate did a witch, Sam a Ninja Turtle- with a vampire on the back side, Marianne painted hers purple like Sophia and Beth was given a blue marker and went to town and thought it was awesome! Jake did one with the words"Team Freeman"and I did the Spider web in puff paint.
