Decmeber 22, 2015

A business in town put on a live nativity one night.  We went- it was short but a good activity for Christmas Break that included the Savior

Sam writes a note to Santa-  He doesn't ask for anything- but just ask's Santa if he likes his treats we are leaving :)

There was tons of snow over the break from school, especially before Christmas.  Which meant a lot of playing in the snow!  We played in the snow many times.  Marianne and Beth usually work on a snow man that we build and re-build as he melts over the last month.  Beth loves him and looks out her window when she is napping trying to see the "no-man"
Sam and Kate and sometimes Marianne sled down the pile of snow the snowplow made in the culda sac on a kid snowboard.
Beth usually eats a lot of snow.

Then we come in and have hot chocolate in a really fun way.

We also made a run to Day's for doughnuts and let the kids pick out a ton.  We are eating gluten free and really healthy most of the time, but that is kind of impossible when cookies and treats are coming to our door from neighbors and friends daily.  So we are cheating for the break.  Which means Kolaches and Doughnuts for all!
