Jake took Sam to his first father son camp out put on by the ward. At six months I would venture to say he may be the youngest child to ever attend. Okay so they didn't actually camp, they came home before it was time to go to sleep for the night so Sam didn't have to sleep in a tent on the ground. Apparently he loved it and laughed the whole time. Here the boys are ready to head out.

wow- you had me there I was so impressed with Jake camping with him all night. Doesn't it make you have all sorts of warm fuzzies about future daddy/son ventures?
Love it! We took Jack camping when he was just 2 and 1/2 months old. I was worried how he'd do, but honestly he did great! We just had him sleep in his car seat wrapped in a million blankets and it worked great. Camping rocks!
Im not surprised he laughed the whole time- he seems like the happiest kid around. So we are just copying you guys (now with a boy!) Your going to be my role model! I really want to have you guys over anyway- but it would be great while chad is here- but the kid is really busy (even here- who knew) so well see if it works out!
