The Saturday before Christmas we had a lot of family fun.
First up making a gingerbread house. We did this while Bethy napped. The kids did a perfect job with it. They are almost better than me at this sort of thing. They didn't even eat it right away- I convinced it to save it and eat it that night when we watched a Christmas movie- And we did. Watching Elf as a family we ate the Gingerbread House.
That evening we went bowling at the bowling alley. It is possible that neither Marianne or Beth had ever been and both thought it was pretty great. Mari now says "can we go do bowling balls again" Funny enough Kate beat me, I'm a pretty bad bowler. Then we ordered food from the Bowling Alley Grill- which is kind of a Heber tradition. Everyone liked the ice cream- clearly Beth loved it.
