Aug 6, 2014

We took our family to the Ogden Temple Open House this morning.  The LDS temple there was completely remodeled so they will need to rededicate it, and so before it is open to visitors including children.  The biggest miracle was that all of our children and ourselves were out of the house by 7:30am.  We drove while the kids watched Finding Nemo on the DVD player.  We arrived and the kids were excited. We had a pleasant walk through and tour with all the kids.  It was special to be there all together with our forever family.  Marianne kept saying it was "so beautiful" which was cute   The last time we went to a Temple Open House with all the kids Bethany was in-utero and Marianne was  about Beth's age, so it was a new experience for her.  It was less of an event than the first because we didn't spend the night or go out to eat, but it was still a special day and I hope one that will stick with the kids.  They seemed most interested in the baptistry's oxen, the stained glass windows and where people got married.  Also we were told what a good looking family we have about 47 times by everyone there which makes me happy.  Then we drove home and were back my noon.
