1. Jake and I and kids spent the entire afternoon bopping around American Fork together doing whatever came to mind.
2. This included shopping for suits, eating at the most kid friendly fast food joint in existence- Chik-Fil-A and treasure hunting at the D.I.
3. This resulted in my finding an antique style mirror so large it hardly fit in my SUV for $15.
Other finds included a Dora backpack for Kate, rider for Sam and more old plates for my cake plate collection.
4. On the way home our Life Insurance Agent called. We just had health tests done for our new policy. He reported to me that I am the 1st person in the history of his agency to qualify for the Elite Preferred rate. Meaning that I am basically the healthiest person to walk through his doors ever... on paper at least after a short ten minute health exam. Not only did this make me feel really good about myself, we got some money back for it too.
5. Other phone calls Tuesday included finally getting Sam an appointment with a specialist at Primary Children's Hospital to look at that extra rib.
6. When we got home we got the Halloween decorations out. The kids, Jake and I spent at least thirty minutes trying out all the costumes in the costume box. The house looked spook-tacular when we were done. My favorite is the Nightmare Before Christmas wedding picture I replaced our wedding picture with.
7. This inspired Jake and I to plan a future Halloween Party, which we did at around 11:30pm last night.
8. Other things that are awesome but happened this morning-
A. Kate went to her 1st day of preschool
B. My copy of Jane Eyre came- perfect for October I think
