April 19, 2014

Easter Morning.
The kids got their Easter baskets in waves depending on when they awoke.
Also the Easter Bunny was super low key this year because she feels like our house has been one constant party of treats and presents since Valentine's Day sooooo. A chocolate bunny, a few filled eggs, some other treats, a puzzle each and snorkel masks and they were good.
It was Bethany's first Easter.  She knew what to do though and dug right into her basket and started eating what she could and loved shaking the filled eggs.  A while later when ready for church she was found having snuck into an easter basket and chowing down on tons of candy.
We attended church- which is kind of the worst day with kids at church because they had a chocolate bunny for breakfast and are having a total melt down now that it is nap time.
Then we went to a delicious dinner at my parents with about 30 or 40 of my Dad's family, cousins, Grandma and uncles and aunts.  It was fun to see many people I hadn't seen in at least a year.
We had another egg hunt to and baskets from Grandma.
We made it home and Jake and I agreed  with two soccer games, two Easter parties on Saturday, one birthday party for Bethy and then Sunday full of Easter baskets church and dinner, it was one of the most exhausting weekend ever.
