1.  Jake makes scary faces at Bethany and she cracks up. She is always laughing lately.  What fun.

3.Pirate Back to School Feast. "Yo Ho Here we go Together as  Team, Jake and the Pirates and Me" The kids are really into Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  This is their song. Sam had been asking for a pirate feats all summer so I used it as an excuse to have a back to school dinner.  It was complete with pirate hats, pirate foods, and a treasure hunt/ mini devotional.  My food consisted of fish sticks and shells and cheese (the kids came up with this: pirates would eat fish and shells the reasoned)  That awesome blue jello.  It had gummy fish inside the blue ocean, a grahm cracker sand complete with an "X" and pirate skull.  I was pretty impressed.  Some pirate ship cupcakes too.  Our treasure hunt had us going to certain places in the house based on things we would need to do to get ready for school.  It had tips for being a good pirate like always listening to your Captain, Being Helpful, If a pirate has nothing nice to say he just says "arrr" and how the Holy Ghost can be a guide to us like a treasure map.
I thought it all had a lot of potential, but mostly I was disappointed because the kids were whinny and nobody would even help me set the table.
