June 2015 Brag Tags

Heber has an awesome program called We Play Unplugged.  It is about doing awesome stuff all summer and not watching tv or playing video games.  I might as well be an employee or official spokesperson for the program because we are some of the most active with it and I talk about it all the time!  Because it is awesome. Heber started it a few years ago and now it is in about ten other cities too.   101 business in town have a "brag tag"  it is a little dog tag that goes on a lanyard the kids each have.  The Brag Tag has an activity associated with it.  As you can see from the pictures those things include, hiking, making sand castles, tie dying, having a lemonade stand, making a fort, going to museums, washing the car and so on.  We have been at it for a month now and we have about 60 tags from three cities.  The kids think it is awesome and so do I.  Most the activities are free or cost very little.  you do the activity at home or sometimes at the business and then you get  a tag.  You can go have your tags counted each Friday which enters you for a $100 raffle each week.
