March 2016- Misc. Iphone

1.  Sam got a watch for his birthday but he wore it at recess at school and it broke.  So when he came home he broke it all apart and played around with the parts of it with tools.  He says he wants to be an engineer when he grows up.  I see it.

2.  Hair!  We have been taking amazing care of Marianne's hair since her diagnosis of Loose Anagen Syndrome last year.  She had lots about 80% of her hair and had sections of scalp starting to show, but a gluten dairy free diet, $40 bottles of shampoo,  weekly scalp scrubs and treatments, special brushes etc, it is looking really good- not Mari's old hair, but acceptable hair for a four year old.  I also wonder if the new asthma medicine they put her on helped for some reason because that is kind of when it seemed to turn around.  She has been such a good sport about it all.  She was quick to understand medical conditions and special diets seeing as how all of her siblings have had to do similar things.  All her patience and my work have paid off big time.    Beth gets a picture of her hair too.  It grows faster than I can cut it and I'm still so jealous of the fun orange color.

3.  Outside time!  The spring has been off and on warm and windy, snowy and cloudy and everything else but we had some outdoor afternoons.  Here are my unicorn girls.  Matching helmets make them such cute pair outside.  Kids all gather in our driveway in the spring because it has the most and longest sun.  In the summer they are all across the street in the shade.

4.  Marianne went to her first friend birthday party for her friend Mallory.  It was a ballerina party so she got to wear an old dance costume of Kates.  She looked adorable and felt so special to finally get to go to a birthday party.

5.  Marianne told me when I picked her up from school one day that for Show and Tell she had brought the picture of Jesus she had in her room and told her class about how Jesus made it so we could live again.  I couldn't believe she did this on her own.  that she thought to share her testimony for show and tell of course made total sense to her.  Funny enough every single week the entire year I'm pretty sure she had chosen some stuffed animal to bring.  I was so proud of her!

6.  Marianne got to register for Kindergarten.  She got all kinds of swag and thought that was pretty cool.  She did not think her kindergarten shots last week were cool at all though
