We took a trip to St. George for a conference of Jake's. Luckily for us is lined up with my parents still renting a house and living in St. George. We didn't have to buy a condo rental which meant we stayed longer and played harder.
We went to the fun zone place where we drove bumper cars and boats, mini golfed, danced with a bear, played arcade games and had lot of fun. This in the end was one of the favorite things. There were tons of meals out including one at Chili's where a lady dropped by a $20 gift card and said to use to on our dinner as a random act of kindness. We went to the Dixie Center animal museum, the Dinosuar dig site and museum, we trekked to zion national park, We took the kids to the Children's Museum, we explored the St. George temple, We played at an awesome park, we went to the book store and let the kids pick out whatever they wanted. Sometimes grandma and Grandpa came with us and sometimes we went out on our own. It was fantastic to do something different. It had been a long time since we had been on a trip. Getting away from the house and responsibilities was so much fun. jake managed to get most of the CLE he needs to keep his Legal License and we returned feeling like we'd spent tons of time together as a family and on a dime.
