Our first day on vacation we spent at the beach. Hours and hours digging in the sand and putting our toes in the ocean. There is not vacation better than this I have discovered. The little kids sit with me on the shore and the big kids venture down to the water. We have kind of scared our kids of the waves since we almost lost Beth and Mari to the ocean last time. The weather was perfect and we never wanted to leave. But we finally did to get some dinner. San Diego is magical to me. Everything is shiny and beautiful and warm. And I love it.
