Day Two of vacation
San Deigo Temple, La Jolla Seal Beach, Mormon Battalion Museum
This was one of our favorite days on vacation. We got to see a lot of different things, and all the kids were happy the whole time. We drove to the San Diego Temple and spent some time exploring. The kids loved it and that made us so happy. Next up we went to the Seal Beach. The seals were so entertaining to watch. The highlight of this was some man was yelling out a lady who was running with her puppy when it snapped at him harmlessly. The confrontation was loud and very near us. I refused to leave the area until the man left the woman alone. Jake and I were drawing straws on who was going to tell the guy to get lost. In the end he left, and the kids couldn't stop talking about the guy who was freaking out. Next up was the Mormon Battalion Museum. This was one of the kids favorite things the whole trip. They got to go on a mini adventure, Sam got to be a solider, we panned for gold. Mari loved that since she has an ever growing rock collection. We all learned a lot and enjoyed it as part of our Sunday. Since we didn't go to church while we were on vacation and it was Sunday this felt like a fair replacement.
